Welcome everyone to this virtual exhibition. Last semester several students, professors and alumni of the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, had a great experience participating in the Oil Painting workshop, taught by Mtra. Elsa Morales. After several online sessions, they learned to paint, to appreciate the process behind making a painting and, above all, to use painting as a means of expression.

In this workshop, nothing more and nothing less was used as an illustration theme than the portrait of an important Mexican national symbol and one of the most important artists of our country, the surrealist painter Frida Kahlo, who has impressed and inspired generations for his vision and his talent.
